What are AS levels?
AS level is considered the year which is studied as a level 1st year. The student used to study the AS level in year 12 in the sixth form of college and 40% of the AS level is counted as an A-level. But now the marks are not taken forward to the A-level grades at the end of the course as now the A-level greats are being based on the exam which the student gives at the end of the year 13.
At AS level which is being started in the first year of 6th form college, where the student has to study 4 subjects. Thus you have many choices for choosing the subject and with the subject to drop to make your future career and job opportunity. And in the 2nd year of 6th from college, the remaining three subjects are being learned which are considered A-level subjects.
