8. La Gloire de mon père by Marcel Pagnol

There are a lot of novels available for learning the language and which one to choose will depend upon the taste and requirements of the person. This novel is the autobiography of one of the popular writers. The writer of this book has included different parts and episodes of his childhood just to give a tribute to his father.
